This week I was given the keys to a sleek little 2007 used Chevrolet Cobalt LS Coupe to try out.

She was a great little unit that was very easy to maneuver, was comfortable to drive with the seats, and just like Pontiac said, this baby was built for a driver!

She is a very clean base level unit with no fancy electronics to go hay wire on you, simple and very economical vehicle!

She is a 2007 with under 65,000 KM’s on her, and she comes with a 5 yr OR 160,000 power train warranty as standard coverage….so nearly 100,000 of power train coverage left…..that means any component that drives your vehicle that is internally lubricated.  It’s a GM Certified vehicle, which means it has passes a 150+ point mechanical inspection, and has reached the criterion required so that we can now offer anyone warranty options that would bring her up to Total Plus protection (like comprehensive coverage).

It was a hot day when I took her home, yet the A/C had the unit cooled down very quickly.  I nearly got a speeding ticket, as she is very smooth and I did not notice that I had sped up to about 15 km’s over the speed limit and I passed a cop going the same direction as me, which is never any good!  Worse yet, I was listening to the XM radio to a comedy station and I was laughing too hard to steer straight at the time.  I let him pass, waved like nothing was wrong…and turned the stereo down.

Anyways, turns out this 2007 Chev Cobalt Coupe, Stock # 106132, would be perfect for anyone on a modest budget, as a second vehicle for the commuter, or even a good student vehicle.  So please give me a call if you need any more information, or if you would like to set up a test drive.

Only a few short days ago the Canadian dollar reached parity with the American Dollar.  It has been a number of years since this happened and just like the last time it was those who were ready to take advantage that prospered.  As short as the period was we were ready to purchase the currency in order to turn it into soon to be export vehicles.  Well the dollars were purchased and then with those dollars we began to search for vehicles that would be a great deal in Canada.

We have been able to find 20+ of those vehicles so far and have sold a number of them already even though they have not arrived.  Vehicles such as Escalade, Yukon, Enclave, Acadia, SRX, CTS, SSR’s, Suburban, and Tahoe’s have all been purchased and will be arriving soon.  We have taken all current used inventory that was previously imported and reduced the prices of each of those vehicles to reflect the currency situation and we now have 50 units that are priced like we have not seen in years.  At Davis GMC Buick we have lots of different financing options as well as a lease company which can create very flexible terms if that is what you are looking for.  In addition we have the ability to search out any vehicle that you might want, purchase it and bring it to Canada for you.   We have access to thousands of vehicles and are willing to work with in order to satisfy your wants and needs.  Just let us know what type of vehicle you would like to buy be it a GM, Ford, Toyota, or any other brand you would like to own.

I recently spent some time in a Used Dodge Caliber which was really quite impressive. The Caliber turned out to be very peppy, very clean unit that carries some cool designs and interior coloring schemes…This vehicle is truly fun to drive.  With less than 80,000 KM’s this 2007 Dodge Caliber would be a right fit for me.
